Podcast Librarian’s Review:

Named after the Slate online advice column of the same name, this is essentially a modern, queer Dear Abby where listeners write in with their relationship, work, and life questions. Dan (AKA Prudence) gives thoughtful, sincere advice, as do his guests. They laugh about some of the crazy situations in which listeners find themselves, but ultimately the goal is to provide earnest, practical advice to the question-asker. This was especially true in the episode called Too Handsome Fiancé with Vanessa Zoltan, whose praises I’ve sung in my reviews of her other podcasts: Harry Potter and the Sacred Text and Hot and Bothered. Dan and Vanessa were an excellent pairing to answer the questions in that episode! I love a good advice podcast every now and then, and this one is a super easy, enjoyable listen that doesn’t require too much of your attention.
