Hush Money: A financial advice boxing match
The Premise (from Apple Podcasts):
Let’s talk about money — but not *boring* money. Entrepreneur editor-in-chief Jason Feifer and money expert Nicole Lapin go straight at the most taboo, awkward situations where money impacts our lives, relationships, and careers. In each episode they debate the trickiest questions, offering genuine financial advice about typically hush-hush issues. Then they bring in a celebrity judge to decide who’s right.

Podcast Librarian’s Review:⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been a fan of Nicole Lapin (AKA Rich Bitch) for many years now. She’s one of the most well-known financial advisors out there, and I like her style—though I’m not the best at actually following her advice. There are plenty of financial advice pods out there, but the format of this one makes it stand out in a very crowded market. Nicole and co-host Josh Feifer (editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur magazine) begin each episode with a listener’s financial dilemma and then debate what the listener should do. It truly is a debate because they usually disagree with each other. Finally, a “celeb” guest enters the conversation to further discuss it and ultimately, declare whether Nicole and Josh gave the better advice. These celebs are familiar names, if not A-list celebrities: Bobbi Brown, Dr. Oz, Sex with Emily, the Betches, and so on. Nicole and Josh have great co-host chemistry, and while they give great advice, the pod doesn’t come across as didactic or judge-y, like many other financial podcasts tend to do. With a unique format, likeable hosts, and solid financial advice, this is a money pod that you will actually want to listen to!
