Podcast Librarian
Big Announcement: The 12 Days of Podmas!
Here’s what I’ve been keeping under wraps!
It’s the inaugural Podcast Librarian’s 12 Days of Podmas!

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁: Here’s a FAQ that exactly no one asked for (which I guess just makes it a Q, since the questions were not asked with any frequency at all). 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁 Did you know the 12 Days of Christmas actually begin on 12/25 and go til 1/5? It’s not a countdown to Christmas but an extension of the holiday! 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁—𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱. 𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗺𝗮𝘀? You usually only get one podcast review a week (I’m a busy lady), but I have a surplus of reviews ready to be published—so you’re getting a review a day from now until 1/5/21. 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘂𝗽, 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁? Not really; they’re just podcasts I’ve enjoyed in the not-too-distant past and want to recommend. All new content to my channels! There are plenty of great Best of 2020 pod lists online, so be sure to check those out. 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝘁. 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻? Hold your horses, I'm just trying to survive the end of this year. But seriously, I do have some fun plans for the first half of 2021. These include a newsletter launch so you can have recommendations delivered right to your inbox (like curbside pick-up). 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: I’ll also be publishing some tips for you, based on my experience of routinely listening to 20+ hours of podcasts every week. Stay tuned for some other surprises throughout the year! 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆, 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁? Don’t you hate when you have a whole conversation with someone and then are forced to address the fact that you don’t know their name? Let's not make it awkward. I'm Alison the Podcast Librarian. I listen to dozens of podcasts weekly and review the ones I like enough to share with you, the fine people of the internet. I'm a real, live librarian—hence the name. Hey, I love podcasts too. Can we chat? Feel free to share your favorite podcasts with me! Unless you’re creepy or a spambot.
